Kick Ass [2010]
Release date April 16th 2010
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1250777/
apple trailers Wrote:A twisted, funny, high-octane adventure, director Matthew Vaughn brings KICK-ASS to the big screen. KICK-ASS tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes — including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) — and forges a friendship with another fledgling superhero, Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But thanks to the scheming of a local mob boss Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong), that new alliance will be put to the test.
imdb Wrote:Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan with a few friends and who lives alone with his father. His life is not very difficult and his personal trials not that overwhelming. However, one day he makes the simple decision to become a super-hero even though he has no powers or training

Empire Wrote:Those of a sensitive disposition may want to look away now because a new Kiss-Ass red-band trailer is up online and it majors on Hit Girl, a 12 year-old with the violent tendencies of Oldboy and the potty mouth of Malcolm Tucker.
All the rest of you feel free to enjoy a festive treat with Chloe Moretz's kicking, shooting, and kicking so more as she tackles a mass of unsuspecting villainy. Kudos too for finding time to sneak in a cheeky milkshake with her dad and mentor, Nicolas Cage's Big Daddy, amid that welter of feature-rearranging.
Based on Mark Millar and John Romita Jr's comic-book series and directed by Matthew Vaughn, Kick-Ass is set in a world populated by ultra-violent and, in the case of Aaron Johnson's wannabe crime fighter Kick-Ass, not-quite-so-ultra-violent vigilantes.
As you probably know by now, we're really rather excited by it in this part of the world and this trailer gives us more reasons to count down the days until the its UK release on April 2, 2010.
